When Philadelphia-based meat and cheese company Dietz & Watson found out that Monacan High School had a charcuterie club, they decided to send representatives to the school. They wanted to meet the students that shared their interest in charcuterie.
Tuesday afternoon, the Dietz & Watson representatives put on a presentation about the finer points of making a charcuterie board. Each student was gifted a goodie bag with all the necessary items for making their own charcuterie board, too. D&W also has a local retail connection: Tom Leonard’s Farmer Market in Glen Allen.
