In his keynote, the governor noted that no new names have been added to the memorial in 2023.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin gave the keynote address during the commonwealth’s 67th Annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond.

He then joined Craig Crenshaw, secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs, and Army Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, adjutant general of Virginia, in laying a wreath on the Shrine of Memory.
