Candidates vying for Richmond mayor will discuss issues that matter to residents in a live forum hosted by VPM Media Corporation in partnership with 12 On Your Side and ChamberRVA.
All five candidates — Andreas Addison, Dr. Danny Avula, Michelle Mosby, Maurice Neblett and Harrison Roday — have agreed to participate in the event scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 1.
The one-hour debate, hosted at VPM’s studios in Chesterfield County, will air live on VPM PBS and 12 On Your Side. It will also air on the radio on VPM at 88.9 FM. A livestream of the event will also be available on VPM’s YouTube channel. Afterward, the forum will be posted — alongside other election coverage — at vpm.org/elections.
“The mayoral forum is an important opportunity for us to provide the Richmond community with vital information ahead of election season this fall,” VPM Chief Content Officer Steve Humble said. “We’re grateful to our tremendous partners in ChamberRVA and 12 On Your Side for helping to bring this significant broadcast to local audiences.”
The forum will be moderated by VPM News Focal Point anchor Angie Miles and 12 On Your Side’s Curt Autry.
