Douglas Pritchard throws a catfish back into the James River on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Richmond, Virginia.

A flood warning was in effect along the James River until Thursday evening. The warning extended from the Powhatan Correctional Center to the western edge of Belle Isle in Richmond. Earlier in the week, Douglas Pritchard was down at the James, throwing a catfish back into water.
