The Richmond area will remember Winter Storm Blair primarily for the havoc it caused — disrupting local water systems, closing public schools for the week and delaying proceedings at the General Assembly.

But some residents tried to make the best of the situation, like these people who brought snowboards and sleds to the Belle Isle parking lot.
