    Tara Morand, dressed as Virtue from the Virginia state seal and flag, and Christiane Riederer were among the hundreds of people gathered last Saturday at the Virginia State Capitol in protest of President Donald Trump’s policies and actions.

    The Richmond demonstration was part of a wave of protests across the country tied to a grassroots political organization called 50501 — a reference to “50 protests, 50 states, 1 movement.”
