Five robots will join robots such as the Mars Pathfinder Sojourner Rover and C-3PO in Carnegie Mellon University’s Robot Hall of Fame this year.
The hall of fame, which opened in 2003, honors robots from both science and science fiction.
Inductees were announced on April 19 and will be inducted during a June 21 ceremony at the RoboBusiness Conference and Exposition in Pittsburgh. The inductees will be:
