VPM PBS in the Harrisonburg viewing area (WVPT) will be undergoing required maintenance beginning midnight tonight (6/8/23). When the over-the-air signal returns at about 6:00 AM, it will be running at reduced power on a temporary antenna. This will continue until September 15th. Some viewers could lose reception during this time.

Museum programs welcome patrons with dementia

The Frist Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, took cues from the Museum of Modern Art in New York, which started its Alzheimer’s Project in 2007. The program guides people with dementia through museum exhibits and related art projects.

WPLN’s Blake Farmer joined visitors with dementia at an exhibit of Asian textiles at the Frist and has our story.
