Michigan secretary of state on election law charges against Republicans

In Michigan, 16 members of the state’s Republican Party are facing felony charges. They’re accused of breaking the state’s election laws when they attempted to stand in as electors for Michigan to hand the state to former President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is one of many state officials interviewed in the fake electors probe. She joins us.
