A man and his daughter find remains of a ship that ran aground over 150 years ago

LEILA FADEL, HOST:

Good morning, I'm Leila Fadel. Have you ever searched for mysteries below the waves, sea creatures, a shipwreck? Well, a father and his 6-year-old daughter in Wisconsin discovered a piece of history during a fishing trip on Lake Michigan. They thought their sonar had found an octopus. Archaeologists say they actually pinged the remains of a sailing ship that ran aground during a deadly fire. The crew was rescued. Their abandoned relic would be found 150 years later.
