Starting on election night, our special coverage will bring you live updates from NPR headquarters in DC, with key political correspondents reporting directly from critical swing states. You can follow along on your local Member station broadcast, online at NPR.org, through the NPR App, or on your smart speaker. We’ll also share updates on social media at Facebook.com/nprpolitics and Instagram/nprpolitics, with recaps on the NPR Politics Podcast. Find your local station at npr.org/stations (Special coverage for election returns from NPR will be live from 7pm-3am ET; many stations will carry it).
Digital Coverage:
- Live Blog: A live blog will be available at NPR.org with breaking news, election returns, exit polling, and analysis from NPR’s team of experts beginning at 7 am ET on Tuesday.
- Interactive Map: A live-updating election results map, with tools that allow users to view returns by state and key counties, as well as historical results from previous elections will be highlighted on NPR.org. Additional graphics on the site will update with Senate, House, gubernatorial results and ballot measures.
- Local News Network: Visit your participating NPR Member station website for additional local news, including ballot measures and local elections.
