ZOOM program and website promotes activity-based learning about science and engineering. The site offers a wide variety of games and activities to enhance children's knowledge and enthusiasm about science. (Ages 6-10 years) Students | Teachers

Kart Kingdom is based on the systems thinking curriculum. The idea of systems thinking is for an individual to understand what the system is and how it works. To be able to process using systems thinking is a crucial life skill for scientists, engineers, etc. (Ages 6-9 years) Students | Teachers


Engineering

Design Squad Engineers have led a technological revolution that has improved the quality of our lives, yet many kids and adults alike do not understand how the technology they use in their daily lives works. They are also unclear about the engineer's role in society or even what an engineer does. Design Squad Nation is one of the few places on TV where kids can learn about engineering. Cyberchase This award-winning series features exciting adventures that teach core math and science concepts. The Super Cyberchase Science theme page highlights resources that promote math and science connections, and The Inventor's Workshop game introduces students to basic principles of physics and engineering. PBS NOVA Labs – Citizen Science Opportunities NOVA Labs is a new digital platform where "citizen scientists" can actively participate in the scientific process. From predicting solar storms and designing renewable energy systems to tracking cloud movements and learning cybersecurity strategies, NOVA Labs participants can take part in real-world investigations by visualizing, analyzing, and sharing the same data that scientists use.
