VCU’s Computer Science Day aims to give high school students exposure to a variety of career opportunities in this growing field. Teens can learn about cutting-edge research with exciting talks given by faculty members and graduate students from the VCU Department of Computer Science.
Afternoon discussions will include representatives from companies in the industry, giving interested students a leg up on what kinds of jobs are available for computer science majors, and how to best prepare for them.
It all happens on Saturday, November 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Computer Science Day is a free event and includes lunch for registered participants. Details and a link to register are available on VCU’s website.
