Natural Connections Educators Conference at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Educators of young children are invited to enjoy a four-day conference called Natural Connections: Interdisciplinary Strategies for Teaching and Learning.” This collaborative experience, held at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, provides valuable professional development opportunities for infant/toddler through 6th grade teachers, administrators and pre-service teachers.

Join your colleagues for inspiring opportunities to make natural connections with interdisciplinary teaching approaches. Presenters will model ways to blend science, social studies, language arts, and math standards into authentic learning experiences.

The conference will be held from March 17 through 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You can sign up for one day or several days. A fee of $45 per day includes continental breakfast, sessions, lunch, classroom resources and 8 hours of professional development points. Pre-registration is required.
