Keeping the Faith

This year, Easter, Passover and Ramadan all fall, at least in part, within the month of April. These holidays traditionally involve coming together as a community to share and deepen religious beliefs. As many states continue stay-at-home orders, however, we wanted to explore how people are practicing their faiths, while staying apart.

This episode, we talk about faith at home and creative ways of worship during COVID-19. From an Easter Service at a drive-in movie theater to a virtual Seder, we talk with religious leaders and followers as they reflect on their spiritual practices during a pandemic.

Ask The Experts

In our Thursday episode, we spoke with Koshin Paley Ellison and Robert Chodo Campbell, a couple of married Buddhist monks who run the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care about their work with front line healthcare workers and hospital chaplains about how to live in the moment and care for themselves in the midst of this crisis. The insights and techniques they share are things you can apply to support one another and find some peace in our own lives.
