With everyone staying at home, VPM pivoted to making content to help our community through this unprecedented time about the coronavirus and as well as ways to help cope with social distancing. Learn about the ways you can help while social distancing as well as finding the best ways to connect with your friends and families as safely as possible. This is our list of essential VPM content to get you through this difficult time. 

Social Distance Assistance

A podcast about looking for the helpers during the pandemic. Taking a cue from Mr. Rogers, host Kelly Jones and her daughter, June, set out to find brave, creative problem solvers who are supporting their communities in the era of social distancing. Each week, they explore how people are helping and then sit down with experts who can answer our most pressing pandemic questions and give practical advice on how to become helpers ourselves. Seder Dinner

While Virginia is social distancing, people are still practicing faith through creative online solutions. VPM hosted a Seder dinner on Youtube and Facebook. In this Virtual Community Seder, members of Richmond’s diverse Jewish community will share their unique observance of the holiday through home-made videos. Learn about the different elements of the Passover Seder and how families are keeping traditions alive despite distance and social isolation.
