Episode 2: How can visiting historic sites help us develop a sense of place as we explore physical and cultural landscapes? In this episode of Freedom's Fortress, students will use the five themes of geography to better understand the environment and the history of Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia. Developed for students in grades 4-7 and correlated to Virginia Standards of Learning.
