Episode 2: The “Recycling Sharks” discover the importance of proper waste disposal and explore one of the 3Rs - Recycle. Join Reggie, Rebecca and Reef as they identify the difference between trash and recycling to promote waste reduction in our daily lives.

Knowing the basics of which materials are recyclable ensures better disposal efforts and reduces pollution, especially within our oceans. Litter can travel from the ground and into our waterways  endangering marine life and aquatic habitats. We can contribute to clean, healthy environments by making sure waste goes in the bin and not on the ground.

Like the “Recycling Sharks” say, knowing which is the correct bin and looking for symbols can help us know which materials to recycle. Let’s commit to proper waste disposal, whether trash or recycling, but never as litter, to protect our aquatic friends and oceans.
