Italian Sandwich on Focaccia

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 focaccia, 6” x 15”
  • 1 lb assorted Italian sausages (pepperoni, salami, etc)
  • 6 ounces mortadella
  • ½ lb Italian cheese (mozzarella, provolone, etc)
  • 6 pepperoncini, sliced
  • 1 roasted red bell pepper, cut into slices
  • ½ medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 slicing tomato, thinly sliced
  • 2 c. arugula, packed
  • ¼ c. Italian dressing


Step 1: Split the focaccia through the center. Layer the bottom with meats then cheeses. Broil to melt the cheese if desired. Top with pepperoncini, roasted red bell pepper, onion, lettuce, and arugula. Drizzle the sandwich with Italian dressing. Sprinkle with oregano. Slice into pieces 2 to 2 ½ inches wide and serve.
