Charitable Gift Annuity
A Charitable Gift Annuity is a contract between an individual and a charitable organization. Should you decide to do this with VPM, you would transfer cash or another asset, such as stock, to our Charitable Gift Annuity Program. Under such a plan, a donor is eligible for an immediate charitable tax deduction and receives periodic fixed income payments for life. At the end of the term, the remaining balance is then paid out to VPM.
The minimum gift for funding is $25,000. The minimum age for life income beneficiaries of a gift annuity shall be 75 years of age. Where a deferred gift annuity is offered, the minimum age for life income beneficiaries shall be 65 years of age.
