The Richmond Symphony will be performing their latest Metro Series concerts "Mozart & More" this weekend in two different locations. They'll be at the Perkinson Center for the Arts in Chesterfield County Friday evening (4/29)at 7:30pm and Blackwell Auditorium at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland Sunday afternoon (5/1) at 3:00pm.
Principal Bassoon Thomas Schneider will be the featured soloist, performing Mozart's Bassoon Concerto. Also on the program will be music by Franz Joseph Haydn, Alberto Ginastera and Anna Clyne. Tom joined me for a preview of the concert and talked about the differences in his instrument today compared to Mozart's time.
