From literal angels to sweethearts, angels have long held a fascination for songwriters and singers and we’re going to sample some of those works. We’ll have music from Jimmy Dawkins, Sharon Lewis, Otis Rush, Robert Plant, JD Wilkes, Susan Tedeschi and more.
And that’s just in the first hour.
Our second hour together will feature the likes of Melissa Etheridge, Dave Alvin, Annie Lennox, Tim Curry, George Harrison, Colin Hay, Roy Orbison and more.
We’ll also listen to another track from Lauren Calve, a Northern Virginia singer songwriter who is coming to the Tin Pan on December 14th that I think you’re going to like very much.
