The Grammy Award-winning chamber choir The Crossing has released their newest album. "Carols after a Plague," features commissions from 12 different composers, with each submitting their own brief carol showcasing a variety of deeply personal and diverse interpretations of the pandemic.
I sat down with director Donald Nally to find out more about this latest project. The idea originated from one of the ensemble's Christmas concerts in Philadelphia, PA. The Crossing is dedicated to presenting new works relating to what is going on now in our world, while looking ahead to the future.
Yours in good music,
