Founded in the summer of 2017, the Curium Piano Trio highlights the work of women composers, alongside the traditional piano trio repertoire. This enables them to bring creative and diverse musical programming to their audiences.
Pianist Rachel Kim and violinist Agnieshka Peszko are founding members, who were later joined by cellist Carlyn Kessler. The trio of talented musicians joined me to talk about how they got started and among other things, why they decided on the name "Curium."
