The Richmond Symphony Pops will perform with guest vocalist N'Kenge Saturday evening (May 13th) at 8pm in the Carpenter Theatre. From Broadway to Motown to Hollywood, N’Kenge salutes the divas of jazz, opera, pop, and soul. She pays tribute to Billie Holiday, Leontyne Price, Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, and others.
Then on Sunday at 3pm, the symphony presents a Mother's Day concert featuring classical favorites at the Perkinson Center for Arts & Education in Chester.
