Organist Gail Archer will be visiting Richmond this week, presenting her "Concert for Peace" at St. James Episcopal Church on Friday evening, September 29th at 7 P.M. Gail has been "hailed as one of this era's most adventurous interpreters of the classical organ repertoire."
Under the circumstances of the military conflict in Ukraine, this “Concert for Peace" presents an opportunity for audiences to appreciate the monumental contributions to classical music that have emerged over the centuries from Ukraine.
I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with Gail about her musical background and her experiencing traveling around the globe playing on some of the world's most prominent organs.
