The Richmond Symphony continues their Symphony Series the weekend of October 21-22 in the Carpenter Theatre at Dominion Energy Center. The program includes "Don Juan" by Richard Strauss, the Symphony No. 6 ("Pathetique") by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Bela Bartok's Viola Concerto performed by guest soloist Paul Neubauer.
As always, Music Director Valentina Peleggi joined me on "An Hour with the Richmond Symphony" to discuss the music. I also caught up with violist Paul Neubauer to take about the Bartok concerto.
Performances are Saturday evening, October 21st at 8pm and Sunday afternoon, October 22nd at 3pm. I'll join Valentina and Paul on stage for a pre-concert talk one hour before each concert.
