Del. Lamont Bagby ran against Steve Imholt and won the race for Senate District 9 during the winter. Now, the Democrat is running as an incumbent in Senate District 14.
Redistricting is the why. In simple terms, it’s how new political boundaries are drawn. And in Virginia, this November’s historic election is so important in part because of how redistricting the election maps worked out.
But how did all this happen, exactly?
Hanover officials discuss $50M road upgrades

Infrastructure improvements along Hanover’s popular Atlee Station Road and Pole Green Road corridors are projected to cost the county around $50 million in state and local funds. County officials recently met with residents to discuss the ongoing development of the Atlee Station project, as well as its design and overall cost.
Atlee Station Road is set to receive widening, sidewalk and shared use path enhancements.
