Pianist Daniel Stipe

The Richmond Symphony is presenting their final Metro Series concerts of the season this weekend. The program will be led by Associate Conductor Chia-Hsuan Lin and is titled "Mozart and Spirituals," with works by Mozart, William Dawson and Arnold Schoenberg. Pianist Daniel Stipe will be the soloist, performing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 17.

Daniel and I had the chance to talk about the upcoming concerts on "An Hour with the Richmond Symphony," which airs every Friday afternoon at 5pm and Sunday evening at 7pm. Performances are Saturday evening, May 18th at 7:30pm at St. Christopher's School in Richmond and Sunday afternoon, May 19th at 3pm in Blackwell Auditorium at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland.

Yours in good music,
Mike Goldberg
