Reported by VPM News’ Jahd Khalil
Sen. Tim Kaine said the concern that Biden is no longer well-suited for another four years in office shouldn’t outweigh record economic growth under his administration or temper concerns about Trump’s attempt to overthrow the election.
“This guy has earned our respect, including our ability to respect the fact that he's going to make the right decision,” Kaine said about Biden. “I don't think he needs a lot of Dems trying to pile on and push them out.”
James City County report details splitting shared school system
Reported by WHRO News’ Nick McNamara
Supervisors now have a blueprint for decoupling the nearly 70-year-old Williamsburg–James City County joint school division.
“It sounds complicated because it is,” said David Gaston, the author of the feasibility study and transition plan for James City County.
The question of separation arose in June 2023 when Williamsburg announced its own study into the possibility of establishing a separate school division as Williamsburg students lagged behind James City County students in performance.
