This edition of JAMinc Presents aired on the Saturday before Christmas, as we headed back to the stimulating confines of Carytown’s Révéler Experiences to enjoy the musical conversation that was had by a trio of RVA’s frontline jazz players--Daniel Clarke on piano, Brian Caputo on drums and Andrew Randazzo on bass were our sonic Santas for two elegant sets of seasonal selections that showcased the trio’s endless creativity and imagination. We relished the result of a weekly residency they did at the Oakhurst Inn in Charlottesville every Monday night, for a couple of pandemic years, giving the three lots of time to really get to know each other musically.
