Snow that started falling across Central Virginia Tuesday morning and continued throughout the day caused several school districts to cancel classes — or shift them online.
The National Weather Service has forecasted potential additional snow, sleet and ice accumulation Tuesday night, with freezing rain to follow Wednesday morning that could leave roads icy and unsafe.
