Photos: Virginia's 2025 primary elections

State Sen. Ghazala Hashmi (D–Chesterfield) is seen pinching a baby's toe in a playful way at a polling station in Richmond during Tuesday’s primary elections.

With over 26% of the vote shortly after polls closed, Hashmi declared victory in the six-person Democratic race for the lieutenant governor nomination later that night.
