Clean out your basement or attic — you may find something worth millions

STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:

Good morning, I'm Steve Inskeep. Here's your inspiration to clean out your basement or attic. A family in Saskatchewan, Canada, found a cardboard box which contained more than 10,000 hockey cards - you know, like baseball and football cards, the kinds that kids collect and collectors pay for. These were from 1979 and included rookie cards of Wayne Gretzky. The cards were auctioned for 3.7 million U.S. dollars. That'll buy a lot of biscuits. It's MORNING EDITION.
