Anthony McGill, Principal Clarinet of the New York Philharmonic, recently released an album with his brother Demarre McGill, who serves as Principal Flute with the Seattle Symphony. The two returned to their childhood stomping grounds with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra to produce "Winged Creatures."

"[The Central Virginia Wind Symphony] will give the people of central Virginia opportunities to see and hear these gifted students in live performances." One such opportunity is the 15th Annual Holiday Spectacular on VPM Music.

Award-winning British composer Ilan Eshkeri's work is performed in concert halls, theatres, galleries and on film & television. One of his latest projects was writing music for "The White Crow," a new film directed by Ralph Fiennes about the life of dancer Rudolf Nureyev.
