  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 1 T. coriander
  • 1 T. cumin
  • 1 T. cardamom
  • ½ t. cayenne (more for a spicier dish)
  • 4 chicken breasts cut into thin slices
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sauce (below)
  • Large flour tortillas
  • Tomato slices
  • Lettuce
  • Red onion, sliced

  • 1 c. lemon Greek yogurt (or use plain)
  • 1 t. Cumin
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Blend together in a small bowl and serve with Chicken Shawarma in tortillas.

Heat the olive oil in a large fry pan over medium-high heat.

Add garlic, coriander, cumin, cardamom, and cayenne until bloomed for flavor.

Immediately add the chicken and stir fry until cooked through.

Place a serving of chicken on a tortilla and top with sauce, tomato, lettuce and red onion.

Wrap burrito style and serve.
