Meet farmers from Highland and Hanover Counties to see how Virginia growers are crafting value-added items including syrup, soap, and wool products. Randy Battle and Jen Naylor share gardening tips you can use at home.

 

Peggy Singlemann visits Mary Murphy at Wandering Cow Farm in Hanover the learn about raising livestock and creating value-added products including yarn from sheep wool and goat milk-based soaps.

In-studio, Christoph Herby from Tonoloway Farm demonstrates how to tap a tree for syrup making and explains how he creates syrup blends.
