The Oratorio Society of Richmond is collaborating with Richmond's period instrument ensemble Jefferson Baroque to perform George Frideric Handel's "Susanna" at Grace Baptist Church on Sunday, March 8th at 3:00PM. Handel's depiction of the story is "a tale of virtue, violation and justice."

The performance is honoring International Women's Day, with proceeds benefiting the Safe Harbor shelter for victims of sexual and domestic abuse. Director Michael Gray stopped by our VPM studios, joined by fellow singers Tascha Anderson and James Brown to perform selections from the oratorio. They were accompanied by members of Jefferson Baroque.
