Dali cargo ship arrives in Norfolk for repairs
Reported by The Associated Press
The container ship that crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore is now in Hampton Roads for repairs.
The Dali was escorted by the U.S. Coast Guard and will be unloaded at the Virginia International Gateway in Portsmouth. After initial repairs, it will go to Norfolk International Terminals, then a third location for various repairs.
It headed out of Baltimore for Virginia on Monday, nearly three months after the ship lost power and crashed into one of the Key bridge's supporting columns and caused the bridge to collapse.
