Richmond's first Black mayor lies in state at the Capitol building

Henry L. Marsh III, a longtime Virginia state senator and Richmond's first Black mayor, died last week at 91. Thursday, his son Dwayne — pictured here — and others paid their respects as he he lay in state at the Capitol building ahead of his funeral Saturday.

"Another giant," one visitor whispered as he left the Old Senate Chamber.
