Tour a woodland garden in Lexington to see how public lands protect habitat and promote our connection to the natural world. Plus, learn about the invasive plants threatening our parks. Dr. Robyn Puffenbarger and Allison Hurst share gardening tips you can use at home.

 

Keith Nevison visits Boxerwood Nature Center and Woodland Garden to explore the representative ecosystems on display with Ben Eland, Garden and Facilities Manager,  and learn about their mission to connect with children with Jessica Sullivan, Early Education Coordinator.

In-studio, Kevin Heffernan, Stewardship Biologist for the Department of Conservation and Recreation,  shows examples of invasive plants threatening our ecosystem and gives tips on how to remove them.
