Sean previously covered a variety of issues in the Richmond area through a data-driven lens for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, winning awards for data journalism at the Virginia Press Association's 2022 and 2023 awards contests.
Prior to joining the Times-Dispatch, Sean was part of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists’ reporting team for the 2021 “Pandora Papers” investigation and hosted ICIJ’s “Meet the Investigators” podcast.
