  • Emmy-winning composer Jeff Beal is well known for his work in film and television, but has also written many works for the concert hall. He's recently released "The Paper Lined Shack," featuring a new work for soprano and orchestra to celebrate Leonard Slatkin's 50 years with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. VPM's Mike Goldberg talks with Jeff about his storied career and this new album.
  • I’ve been in a reflective mood since our 16th Anniversary Show, and I’ve been looking back at some of the things we’ve played and a lot of the things we haven’t played yet and I wonder how much of this great blues music will we be able to share with you over the next 16 years.
