Katy Sewall wins VPM Pitch Party at RESONATE Podcast Festival.

Part two of VPM NEWS FOCAL POINT’s first season is set to premiere on October 13 with ten new episodes airing through December 15.

The VPM + ICA Community Media Center will host a pitch party as a part of the 2022 RESONATE Podcast Festival on Oct. 15.

VPM won two public media honors at the 54th Annual Public Media Awards Gala.

MENDING WALLS and RAISED/RAZED will be screened at the 7th annual Afrikana Film Festival, taking place from Sept. 15-18.

The festival will include workshops in the VPM + ICA Community Media Center, one-on-one consultations, exhibitions and special performances featuring Sharon Mashihi of Appearances and Nick van der Kolk of Love + Radio.

PBS announces Season 2 to premiere summer 2023, with host Alejandra Ramos and judges Leah Cohen, Tiffany Derry and Graham Elliot set to return.

The VPM News team won 2 awards from the Public Media Journalists Association (PMJA).

VPM, together with its producing partners, has received six regional Emmy Awards from the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

VPM has been named a finalist in five different categories for the 64th Capital Emmy Awards.
