Richmond Ballet Presents "Studio One"
The Richmond Ballet kicks off its 2019-20 Studio series next week, with works choreographed by Ma Cong and Artistic Director Stoner Winslett. The company will be honoring Winslett's 40th anniversary with the organization by presenting "Ancient Airs and Dances," the first piece she choreographed for the professional company. It is set to Italian and French lute songs orchestrated by Ottorino Respighi. The second half of the program will feature a world premiere created by Ma Cong.
Studio One runs from November 5th through November 10th at the Richmond Ballet Studio Theatre on East Canal Street. The two choreographers stopped by our VPM Music studios to talk about this exciting production. Enjoy our chat and I hope you can attend one of the shows!
Yours in good music,
