Opus 20: The Sun

The Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia presents a free concert in the Richmond Public Library Saturday afternoon, November 9th at 2PM. The performance is titled "Opus 20: The Sun" and features two string quartets from the Opus 20 set by Franz Joseph Haydn, as well as a commission from Richmond native Kyle Valorose.

Artistic Director James Wilson joined me on Afternoon Classical for a preview of this concert and we later talked with the young composer Kyle Valorose, and excerpts from this chat are included.
