Composer Gernot Wolfgang has released a new album of original chamber music titled "Vienna and the West,"which features chamber works for a variety of instruments. He recently talked with Mike Goldberg about his compositional style and how this album came together.

The Miro Quartet recently released their complete Beethoven quartet recording cycle on the Pentatone label. Mike Goldberg spoke with violinist Daniel Ching and violist John Largess about their two-decade journey.

Paul Merkelo has served as Principal Trumpet with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra for the last 25 years, while maintaining a busy solo career.
