Nunca es demasiado pronto para empezar a leer a tu hijo, ¡incluso los bebés lo disfrutan y se benefician! La lectura en voz alta es una de las cosas más importantes que puedes hacer para preparar a tu hijo para su éxito en la escuela. Al leer y conversar con él sobre lo qué estás leyendo se desarrollan sus habilidades lingüísticas y se despierta su imaginación. Leer, ojear libros o compartir historias son momentos especiales para conectar con tu hijo. "Little Red Riding Hood" is a French fairytale for young children about a young girl and a wolf. The story comes from a folktale which means that it was a spoken story for a long time before it was a written story. Two local educators share this story first with an emphasis on story narration followed by an interactive writing lesson focused on the meaning of kindness.

Humpty Dumpty is a very popular nursery rhyme that is frequently used today to teach young children about the concept of rhyme. Humpty Dumpty is an egg that falls off a wall and cannot be put together again. It is believed that the phrase “humpty dumpty” originates from an eighteenth century slang term for a small clumsy person.
