Meet saxophonist Cory Barnfield! He enjoys a successful career as a performer, recording artist and teacher. Cory performs frequently with the Louisville Orchestra and the Kentucky Opera. He's recorded several solo albums, most recently "Song and Dance" on Centaur Records.

Cory is also very active as a music educator. He currently teaches music and instrumental ensembles at Norton Commons in the Jefferson County Public Schools in Kentucky. In 2019, he was nominated as a Grammy Music Educator and has also given numerous clinics at middle schools, high schools and colleges throughout the
Midwest. He recently won third place among professors, professionals and other recording artists in the American Prize professional soloist division.
