Laney Sullivan and Jameson Price, the creative force behind the band Høly River, first fell in love with the James through an activity they started with friends called “Quiet Time”. This practice went on to inspire their journey as musicians, as river lovers, and as community members.Laney and Jameson speak to how rivers like the James are part of our natural existence as human beings. They highlight the necessity of respecting and protecting the river, how this approach to the river shows up in their music, and how the James River specifically is where they feel most at home.
